Virat Kohli has come a long way in his international career after making his debut back in 2008. The wonder kid of the Indian Cricket then is now leading the country in all the three formats and is at the forefront to break most of the records in the game. The way he has moulded himself with his fitness regime over the last few years, many youngsters have inspired looking at him and Kohli himself is left overawed over his transformation.
Recently, he led Team India to a comprehensive 2-0 series win in the two-match Test rubber against the Windies. He smacked an inevitable century in the first game in Rajkot and was also looking good in Hyderabad before his opposition counterpart got better of Kohli. The cricketer though will be looking forward to the ODI series now which begins on October 21.
Kohli’s throwback picture
On Monday, Virat Kohli posted his old picture of probably 10-12 years ago and combined it with his current one to reflect how long he has come over all these years. The 29-year-old has worked immensely hard in his career and is also married to the love of his life and the Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
He captioned the picture with a beautiful message which read, “With focus and hard work, anything is possible. Keep working, keep believing. Have a super day everyone.”

Stern test coming up for Kohli
Virat Kohli, as a captain, is yet to win the heart of his fans especially in the longest format of the game. Though he slammed close to 600 runs in five Tests, Kohli’s captaincy was criticised by many cricketing greats. His decision to bench Cheteshwar Pujara in the series opener also came under the scanner. However, he has a great chance to make amends in the upcoming Australia tour by leading India to their first ever Test series win down under.
