Sunil Chhetri quizzed Virat Kohli with a tough question
During the live Instagram session, Sunil Chhetri questioned Kohli that why he never proposed Anushka Sharma before marriage. To which, the Indian skipper said that they never felt the need of doing those things from the beginning. The 31-year-old added everything happened quite instinctively. As per him, they thought of getting married when they observed everything is going very smoothly.
“Every day can be Valentine’s Day. And what Anushka said is completely true, we never felt like we needed to do that, we knew that we were gonna marry each other, there were no doubts about it ever. So once we knew that everything is going smoothly, we were super excited to start our life together. And everything happened very organically,” Kohli told Chhetri during live Instagram session.
The swashbuckling batsman also gave credit to Anushka for changing him into a better person.
“I wasn’t this person always. I truly believe that everyone has a giving and compassionate side to them but there is always an individual that comes in your life who brings it out. For me, meeting Anushka was that moment when I started to realize that this is not all about me. Life is to look at another person and live like that,” Kohli added.
