Virat Kohli's parody account takes a humurous dig at his brand endorsements
Kohli launched his own application on the occasion of his birthday.
Virat Kohli has been shattering records at will with the willow at the moment and frankly nobody was surprised after he ended the recent ODI series against the Windies with 453 runs in five matches. The more he is loved for his heroics on the field, Kohli is criticised for his brand endorsements. However, his parody Twitter account is all about trolling the Indian captain which is left the social media gimmicks in splits.
The 30-year-old has a huge fan following across the world and they always except for him to interact with them on social media. But Kohli, being a bigger brand nowadays, is seen endorsing the products only on his official handles on Twitter and Instagram. Even on the occasion of his birthday, Kohli launched his own application and provided a discount on Puma products those who downloaded it.
Hilarous tweets
Also, recently Virat Kohli used the Ask Me Anything (AMA) feature on Instagram much to the delight of his fans. However, after some time it was clear that the cricketer was doing nothing but promoting one of the brand products. Earlier this year, India’s former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away and when the nation was mourning the same, the Indian skipper’s tweet came regarding a brand endorsements only to irk the fans.
Meanwhile, Kohli’s parody account is hogging the limelight for recent tweets. In every tweet, it could be seen that the account handler is tagging around four to five brands which is in other way trolling the cricketer.
Kohli’s upcoming assignment
As far as Virat Kohli is concerned, he is currently taking the rest and will next be on the field during the T20I series in Australia. India are scheduled to play three T20Is, four Tests and three One-Day Internationals down under which is a much-awaited contest this year.
