Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli is one of leading cricketers based on their brand value and is on a roll, topping all the charts and is making sure that there are no stones kept unturned on his way ahead. Despite being one of the highest earned cricketers in the nation, he is somehow worried about getting ‘Bankrupt’ in future.

Based on brand value, the Indian cricketer is competing with Bollywood stars like Ranbir Kapoor because of his income from brand endorsements. Last year, he collected more than INR 100 crores, and with him getting better and better, it is always going to improve in the years to come.

As reported by GQ magazine, Virat said about his financial status, “I’ve begun to think about my future. About how to secure it. Money doesn’t motivate me, but it’s important. I’ve gotten accustomed to a certain financial environment. It’s important to sustain that. I’ve seen so many athletes go bankrupt at the end of their career. It’s scary.”

Earlier, Virat was ranked 3rd in the ‘Sports pro’ magazine’s list of the top 50 most marketable players list. He was also named among the top ten sportspersons of the world, according to a list produced by ESPN.

Despite having the fear of Bankrupt, he is one of those cricketers who is highly active in the charity. Even during the busy schedule of IPL, he found time to visit an old age home in Pune ahead of the match against Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) and donated 50% of his match fee to the facility.
