IPL 2022: Virat Kohli grooves on Pushpa songs at Glenn Maxwell's wedding

Former Indian and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli was seen shaking a leg on the popular ‘Oo Antava’ song from the movie Pushpa – The Rise. He was seen enjoying with wife Anushka Sharma and with his Red Army teammates during Australia’s star Glenn Maxwell’s wedding function.

It may be noted that Maxwell tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Vini Raman recently and is currently participating in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). RCB will now take on the new entrants Gujarat Titans in their next group stage encounter to be played on April 30 (Saturday).

Kohli’s wife and actress Anushka Sharma was also present at the event

Much to the surprise of everyone, Virat Kohli is struggling to cross even double digits in his previous few outings in IPL. The 33-year-old started on a decent note with 41* against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in his team’s season opener. However, the right-handed batter got out cheaply in his next two outings against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), scoring 12 and five runs respectively.

RCB fans had a moment to rejoice as the veteran batter scored 48 runs against the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the fourth match. However, things only went down badly for the Indian batter after that as he was dismissed for just one run against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK), followed by a 12 against the Delhi Capitals (DC).

However, the worst was yet to come, as Kohli bagged back-to-back golden ducks against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Kohli only managed to score nine runs against the Rajasthan Royals in his last outing.

Talking about Kohli’s numbers in IPL, the right-handed batter has played 216 matches in which he has amassed 6411 runs at a decent average of 36.43. He has also stroked 42 fifties and five centuries in the tournament.
