Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan tap their feets on the streets of Cape Town
The three-match Test series will commence on January 5.
Team India under the leadership of Virat Kohli is currently in South Africa for the gruelling tour of 3 Tests, 6 ODIs and three T20Is. They are in a happy space after being the near-invincible during the grand home season. They will come under the scanner during their overseas tours and are expected to perform well on the overseas tours to South Africa, England and Australia. However, the likes of Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan are enjoying their time on the Eve of New Year in the southernmost country in Africa.
Virat Kohli has not lost any series since taking over the reins of the Men in Blue. They beat England, Australia and New Zealand at home and also trumped Sri Lanka and Windies in their own den. Though some of the critics believe that they are not being challenged enough and their real test would come when they will travel abroad. Even Kohli has been vocal about the same and is looking forward to the upcoming series.
The best thing about the current Indian team is they thrive in different circumstances and do not let their spirits go down in tough situations. They are enjoying the New Year’s Eve while in South Africa ahead of the three-match Test series. In a recent video which is going viral on social media, the skipper Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan are seen dancing on the streets of Cape Town. They also performed Bhangra, the trademark Punjabi dance, much to the joy of the cricket fans around. The atmosphere in Cape Town is absolutely wonderful and the cricketers are soaking in all the happiness around in the country.

Kohli ready for the daunting task in South Africa
Earlier, the Indian coach Ravi Shastri and captain Virat Kohli said that they were up for the challenge ahead of the Test series during the press conference after landing in the country. He looked confident about India’s chances of winning the Test series recalling the way they countered the bowlers of the opposition back in 2013. “That’s something we did last time. You can’t afford to worry about the pace and bounce, you have to believe in your abilities and take it head-on. That’s key to playing in conditions that are different from your own,” he told reporters.
