Virat Kohli trolls Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter: The Poster boy of Indian cricket and Test skipper Virat Kohli always pulls off something interesting which gives his fans a good giggle. And this time around, the Indian dasher took on his inspiration Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter and trolled the Indian mastero when Sachin tweeted his desire of playing in the International Premier Tennis League’s (IPTL) team, United Arab Emirates Royals team co-owned by Virat.
It is notable that yesterday the Delhi lad Virat had announced that he is the new co-owner of the United Arab Emirates Royals team in the International Premier Tennis League which is captained by the legendary Tennis player Roger Federer. The second edition of the IPTL is set to commence from December 2015.
Sachin’s love for Tennis has never been a secret. Tendulkar, who is hailed as a divinely figure in cricket is very passionate about Tennis and he shares a heart-warming rapport with the Switzerland born Tennis star Roger Federer. Sachin expressed his desire of playing Tennis from his team on Twitter to which Virat in a cheeky way tweeted that he doesn’t think that the Master Blaster has it in him what it takes to play the sport, which left behind a glittering smile on the face of all the Sachin and Virat fans.
Yesterday, talking about this league Virat was quoted saying that, “I have always followed tennis with great interest and today I am glad to be part of a professional tennis league team.”
The 26-year-old Indian batsman further added, “I am a huge fan of Roger Federer and with him joining the UAE Royals, my decision to be on board with the team was firm. The UAE Royals feature some of tennis’ greatest players and I am confident about the prospects of the team in the IPTL. I am also excited about the format of the IPTL, which I am sure will drive further interest in the game of tennis.”
