Virat Kohli and fitness go in the same direction. One can never stop the Indian captain from being the fittest cricketer in the fraternity at the moment. Ever since he has been appointed at the helm for the Men in Blue, he has maintained that the fitness is paramount importance and it is delighting to see that everyone in the Indian team is on the same page in this aspect.
Kohli’s extreme fitness is one of the reasons that he is so much success today. The way he is consistent with the bat scoring centuries like a normal routine is literally unimaginable and no wonder is being considered as the legend of the game already. Recently, he became the fastest to reach 10,000 ODI runs while also becoming the first ever Indian batsman to score three consecutive centuries in the ODIs.
Kohli goes back to his favourite lifts
After a high-intensity ODI series against the Windies, Virat Kohli is rested for the T20I tussle and will soon embark on the Australia tour with the next couple of weeks. However, the cricketer, in his free time is trying to be even more fit in order to be successful during the gruelling tour down under.
He hit the gym straight away after reaching his home and posted the video for his fans and followers. In the video, he could be seen doing heavy weightlifting and also termed it as one of his favourite lifts. Virat always craves to be fitter and clearly, he is not going to rest over the next few days.
He will soon turn 30 years old and the cricketer understands the dynamics of the game to keep playing. He will be involved in what is supposed to be one of the most important tours of the Indian team over the next three months now and he is preparing for the same. Virat Kohli will be in the action on November 21 now as the three-match T20i series gets underway in Brisbane.
