Virender Sehwag appreciates KL Rahul's hunger for runs
Virender Sehwag is one of the most active persons on twitter these days. Apart from wishing famous cricketer hilariously on their birthdays, Sehwag also keeps a tab on the latest happenings in the cricketing world.
The former India opener is a witty man filled with humour and knows exactly how to crack up people. India is currently playing West Indies at Jamaica. The game looks well in the favour of the Indians at the moment after Ravichandran Ashwin’s five-wicket haul on day one followed by KL Rahul’s century on day two.
The young Karnataka batsman received wise appreciating for his knock. The opener has always made most of the opportunity to place his case as the next big thing in the Test arena for Indian cricket.
His hunger for runs is clearly visible and it was rightly acknowledged by Sehwag in one of his tweets. The Nawab of Najafgarh was mighty impressed with the way the right-hander is batting and has called Lokesh Rahul “bhoonka batsman” (hungry batsman) after the latter reached his 3rd Test century with a big six.
Viru took to twitter to congratulate him on his century and also praised him for scoring all 3 centuries outside India. This is what Sehwag had to say: “Dabanng giri at its best from KL Rahul. Last month scored ODI100with 6,tdy test century with a 6.All 3 test100’s overseas.”
The centurion, Lokesh Rahul also thanked the legend giving him the credit for his habit of hitting sixes to reach milestones.
