One simply cannot keep Virender Sehwag out of action. He and his tweets are always a trending topic for his fans. Sehwag continued his tweeting spree as he congratulated Mohammad Kaif for achieving the 10k milestone in first-class cricket. Kaif who is leading Chhattisgarh in their maiden Ranji Trophy appearance reached the 10,000-run mark during his 27-run knock against Tripura in the Ranji Trophy.
The cricket world took to Twitter to congratulate Kaif. He was delighted too and replied back to most of the tweets. The one that stood out among the rest was by Virender Sehwag though. Sehwag called Mohammad Kaif a ‘mehnati batsman’, which translates to a hardworking batsman. He also took a slight dig at Kaif’s slow and steady approach to batting.
He said that Kaif must have surely scored 9000 runs by running between the wickets. That was not the end of the tweet. He continued his dig by asking Kaif if ‘Pakdam Pakdai’ (caught and escape) his second favorite sport. Sehwag has been on a spree taking digs at his fellow mates on Twitter for quite some time now.
From his unique birthday wishes to everyday expression, Sehwag never ceases to amaze. Sehwag tweeted, “Congrats @MohammadKaif ji,on 10,000 first-class runs.9000 to Daud Daud ke hi bhaage honge. Is pakdam pakdai ur 2nd fav sport? #MehnatiBatsman”. Kaif replied back in his modest way. He rightly said not everyone can bring up a triple ton with a six.

This was not it. There were many others who wished Kaif for his achievement. From legends like Anil Kumble to Anjum Chopra, everyone was delighted to see Kaif reach the coveted milestone. The 35-year-old has been a heavyweight in the domestic circuit and was phenomenal during his stint with the national side as well.
