Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is known for his witty digs on social media platforms. Sehwag is highly active on micro-blogging site Twitter. In the recent past, Sehwag has been in the news for his hilarious one-liners. Most of his jokes are centered around the current trends in the news. His funniest remarks are reserved for his birthday wishes to his fellow cricket players.

Virender Sehwag took it to a whole new level when he was commentating during the India-England Test match at Rajkot. Nobody could stop the inflow of the hilarious jokes from the former Indian opener. The day 3 of the Test saw Sehwag come up with a lot of sarcasm and puns. His fans on social media went absolute berserk sharing them. After having conceded 537 runs, the onus was on the Indian batsmen to make a mark on the day 3.

India lost Gambhir early but bounced back riding on tons from Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay. Pujara hit a special ton at his home venue. Without taking much time, Sehwag commented on how quickly Pujara ran for his 100th run. He compared the run as though Pujara was running to exchange the notes at the bank.

The subtle dig was at the current scenario of Indians running to the banks to get their money exchanged after currency demonetization. “Pujara 100th run k liye aisa daude jaise bank me note exchange krne gye,” he joked.

He later said that the only positive that the English team had on the day 3 was their blood group. This was a clear description of how rough the day had been for the visitors. “Aaj k din England k liye kya positive hai?? Wo hai playero ka Blood grp,” he said.

That was not all. Sehwag continued to troll the English bowlers and kept joking about them all day long. Here are some of the best one-liners from Virender Sehwag on the day 3 of the India-England Test:
