No matter what or how the team plays, ex-Indian opener Virender Sehwag manages to grab the headlines with his puns and sarcasm. After a series of puns on the first day, Sehwag is back again as he described a poor and hapless Indian bowling unit while commentating on the second day of the first Test match.
Indian spinners and as a whole, the bowling unit faltered on the second day as England went on to pile a huge total of 537, showing strong determination and preparation as they faced the bowling attack. Bowlers were often found clueless as they struggled to find a way through the English defense and ended up giving away a lot of runs in the process, making it a hard match for the batsmen to fight out for. On a fairly good pitch, the pacers could not do much and spinners were also average as Ravindra Jadeja finished with the best figures for the Indian team with figures of 3-86, but the captain used him for only 9 overs on the second day.
Sehwag, who has revolutionized Hindi commentary with his acute sense of humor, made light of the situation as he commentated that when someone would ask the bowlers about where they are staying nowadays, they would answer that they live in tension as English team posted a total above 500.
Q indian bowler se :beta aj kal kahan rehte ho?
A: tension mein hi rehte hai ,eng ki team aa gyi hai. You are rocking bhaji @virendersehwag— king in the north (@rathore_man) November 10, 2016
Sehwag managed to stay in the headlines on all the days of the match, as his pun-liners never seem to stop or entertain, much like the time when he opened for India and entertained the crowd with his blistering stroke play.

After a deceiving show with the ball, India came out strong as a batting unit, as they managed a strong start and are still going pretty strong, looking to overhaul the first innings score set by England. After Gambhir departed on 29, Cheteswar Pujara and Murali Vijay have batted together to put on an unbroken century partnership, both of them bringing up their half-centuries in the process.
