The day October 20 marks the birthday of Nawab of Najafgarh, Virender Sehwag, who celebrates his 39th birthday today. As a result, wishes started to pour in from all over the cricketing fraternity. In one of the wishes from Indian international Ajinkya Rahane, the Mumbaikar wished that he was part of the triple century he scored at Multan at the other end.
To which Viru replied by saying that he hoped that he would be present in the commentary box while Rahane scores his triple century. On the special occasion, Sehwag also conducted a Q n A with his fans on Twitter under the hashtag ‘Virudiwas’.
Many fans posed interesting questions such as the toughest bowler he has faced in the nets. To which, the birthday boy replied by taking the names of Javagal Srinath and Zaheer Khan. Another fan came up and enquired whom Viru would like to celebrate his birthday with. Sehwag had no hesitation in naming the Universal Boss- Chris Gayle.
Likewise, one of his followers questioned the reason behind his positivity. The Multan of Sultan hilariously replied by saying that it is his blood group (B+) which helps him attain positivity.
“What’s ur inspiration for ur incredible strike rate in test Matches, pls reply viru bhai” asked a Viru fan. “Test and one day are only state of mind – this state of mind,” answered Virender Sehwag using his wits. “@virendersehwag what was going through your mind when you were inching towards your maiden triple ton #ViruDiwas” asked yet another cricket fan. “Emptiness in the mind” is was what Virender Sehwag reciprocated with.
With the help of this interaction, one and all got to know that he is enjoying his life to the fullest after retirement from the game. Sachin Tendulkar wished Sehwag in his own unique way by inverting the captions in his tweet.
