Virender Sehwag wishes PM Modi and R Ashwin on their birthday

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi celebrates his 66^th birthday today. In the last couple of years in office, he hasn’t taken a single leave and is working on the occasion of his birthday as well. He reached Gujarat a day before and was greeted by Gujarat Governor OP Kohli, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani along with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs. Early on Saturday morning he went to meet his mother, seek her blessings and spend some time with her. One of the first few to wish the PM was former Indian opener Virender Sehwag.

Viru has a personal wish for everyone and when it was the occasion of Modi’s birthday, someone who he admires, the dashing opener uploaded an image with a message; he appreciated the Indian PM’s humility, his managerial skills along with his oration and enthusiasm. Sehwag also called him an inspiration.

“Dear Modiji,

Wish you a very Happy Birthday. Your humility, time management, oratory skills, detailing and enthusiasm defies age and is inspiring. May you get support from your colleagues and countrymen in making India a superpower and help us fly high. Have a great ‘Birthday and a wonderful life ahead. 17th September is also the birthday of Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and how could Viru paaji forget wishing his former teammate? He conveyed his regards and said that he hopes Ashwin continues to break records in the coming time and enjoys the long home season.
