VIVO IPL 2016 trophy reaches Mumbai
Mumbai, April 02, 2016: The VIVO IPL 2016 trophy received a magnificent response in Mumbai, marking the completion of an overwhelming journey to six cities across the country to reach the final destination. Showcased at Infiniti Mall, Malad on April 02, 2016, the trophy attracted the cricket lovers who got an opportunity to savor their passion for the crazy game.
High-spirited crowd had a great time and enjoyed the sight of dazzling VIVO IPL trophy. The cricket loving fans rejoicing at the event engaged in numerous sports activities, clicking selfies with the trophy and participated in various contest organized at the VIVO IPL trophy tour. The winners of different activities and contests were given gifts from VIVO IPL tickets to invitations to Vivo brand events. Fans also had a chance to witness the entire range of products from Vivo showcased at the trophy tour.
Mumbai marked the closure of an outstanding tour, successful in creating a wave of excitement about VIVO IPL 2016 through different cities of the nation.
The 9th edition of the successful Indian Premier League starts from 9 April and the final will be played on 29 May 2016. Since two teams that played the last 8 seasons were suspended by the Supreme Court of India two new teams were added to the league for the upcoming and following season. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have been replaced by Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiants.
Like all the seasons of the league thus far VIVO IPL 2016 is also expected to be huge for the franchises and players and a treat for the fans.
