VIVO take the IPL trophy on a tour of India from March 10

Indian Premier League is gearing up for its 10th edition and it will be bigger and better than ever this year. IPL will turn 10 come April and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are leaving no stone unturned. The title sponsor of the cash-rich league has planned a 21-day trophy tour for the IPL’s golden beauty.

The CMO of Vivo India revealed that VIVO IPL Trophy will travel in a total of 16 cities. The tour has already kick started from 10th March. The trophy was on show in Chandigarh in Elante Mall. The tour is supposed to end on the last day of the month in Pune, the home of Rising Pune Supergiants.

Vivek Zhang the CMO of VIVO said, “Vivo is excited to announce the VIVOIPL 2017 trophy tour in 16 cities. The association with IPL last year resulted in a huge brand recall and proved to be extremely fruitful for Vivo.”

He also emphasized on the fact that IPL has been very profitable for them and it is the best way to reach the youth of India. He said “We are constantly striving to innovate and translate our vision into reality. And, undoubtedly, the partnership with IPL is the fastest way to reach out to the youth of India.”

Zhang also talked about how one sport can unite a nation. Talking about engaging the audience, he said that it is the best platform to do so and the passion for the game Indian fans have is immense.

“It is unbelievable how a sport can bring the entire nation together. The IPL truly reflects the love and passion Indians share for this wonderful sport. It offers a splendid opportunity to engage with our audience through various exciting activities,” said Zhang.

Vivo is the first ever title sponsor to arrange the trophy tour. They did it last year and have continued the tradition. The fans of the game will love to see the trophy and the schedule is well mentioned by them.
