VVS Laxman brutally trolls Russel Arnold with his tweet
Arnold looked very pleased with the way Sri Lankan team managed to finish the third Test with a drawn result.
Former Sri Lankan cricketer, Russel Arnold, has made it a habit to make things awkward for himself on the social media. He often ends up trolling himself with his over the top predictions and some amusing tweets. His most recent update on the social media saw him getting brutally trolled by former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman.
Obviously, the entire scene was in good humor as both Laxman and Arnold are colleagues when it comes to their current work assignments. Both of them are the part of the commentary team. Arnold looked very pleased with the way Sri Lankan team managed to finish the third Test with a drawn result. He took to micro blogging site Twitter to express his happiness on the same.
He noted that the Test series ended with a 1-0 result, a result that had significant improvement from the 0-3 drubbing that the islanders had received a couple of months ago against the same opposition. Arnold further added that he is confident of seeing a different result in the ODIs too, which will not be similar to the 0-5 drubbing they had received in the ODI series at home.
VVS Laxman was quick to find a catch in the tweet and trolled him for the same. Well, it was not only Laxman who has trolled him. The fans trolled Russel Arnold in hilarious ways too in previous episodes on the social media.
“So Test series ends 1-0 and I can promise you the ODI’s wont end 5-0 like it did a few months ago !!!,” Russel Arnold had tweeted.
Laxman’s brutal response
The former Indian cricketer was quick to catch the major blip that Russel Arnold committed in his tweet. He mocked and brutally trolled Arnold for his blunder. He affirmed Arnold that his prediction will not fail for sure since the series itself is a 3-match series and not a five-game affair.
“Sure Russel , it won’t in a 3 match series. This prediction won’t fail,” responded VVS Laxman in his tweet.
