Ashish Nehra is the second left- arm bowler Laxman has opted for in the team. Nehra made his international debut in 2001. He played against Australia for the first time two years during 2003 World Cup final at Johannesburg. Nehra has played 13 games against Australia has 14 wickets. Out of the 13 matches, only two took place in Australia. He hasn’t played much against the Aussies in Australia but that doesn’t downgrade his ability as a fast bowler. Overall in his career, Nehra represented India in 120 matches, picking up 157 wickets.
