<p>Mohammad Azharuddin brought the ‘style’ factor in batsmanship. The calm looking cricketer from Hyderabad was a fierce competitor from inside. Azhar led the Indian team for almost the entire 1990’s. Azhar was a very effective ODI player and aggregated 780 runs at an average of 39.00 with 5 hundreds against Australia. The man who led India to its first World Cup victory seems to be the perfect choice to at the helm of the bowling attack against the Aussies in Australia.  His ability to swing the ball at lively pace and handy batting capabilities would be an asset for any team. <p>Javagal Srinath was arguably the finest right arm fast bowler to have played for India. Srinath played over 229 ODIs for India and took 315 wickets at an impressive average of 28. 28. Srinath played against Australia in Australia 11 times and managed 12 wickets in them. <p>Zaheer Khan is the best left-arm swing bowler India has even produced. Zaheer was the backbone of the Indian fast bowling attack for over a decade and gave many memorable performances for India. Zaheer loved the Australian conditions which supported his kind of bowling. ‘Zak’ first played in Australia in the year 2005. However, The left-armer could play in only 5 games in Australia out of which only two were against Australia. However, in all, Zak played 22 ODIs against the Aussies and took 23 wickets in them.</p>
