I want to take 10 wickets against India: Hasan Ali
The arch-rivals will meet on September 18.
The world is waiting for the enthralling battle between India to Pakistan to begin in the Asia Cup. The arch-rivals will square off on September 19 and it is very much likely that they will face each other soon in the next four days. Both the teams haven’t played since the Champions Trophy final last year which was famously won by the Men in Green. Even the players including Hasan Ali are waiting for the encounter as he wants to pick 10 wickets against his favourite opponent.
The mind games have been started by Pakistan players it seems and they look confident to play well against India. They had skittled them for 158 runs in the final last year in England and would be upbeat to repeat that performance in the much-awaited Asia Cup. Hasan Ali though looks more excited as he hasn’t been able to play his best cricket against the Men in Blue and no wonder he is targetting the upcoming fixture as an opportunity to do so.
I will give my best
The young fast bowler is already thinking about the game and assured his fans that he will give his best against India and try to win the game for his country. “I would like to do my wicket-taking celebration 10 times against India but let’s see what happens. I will do my best to take wickets for my team and for my fans who want to see my wicket-taking celebrations,” Hasan Ali was quoted as saying by Pak Passion.
He has emerged as one of the best bowlers for his country in the last 12 months and his wicket-taking celebrations have also become famous. However, he needs to be more careful after injuring his neck while celebrating a wicket in the recent Zimbabwe tour and had to sit out of fag end of the ODI series.
Ali has so far picked 68 wickets in 33 One-Day Internationals and has three five-wicket hauls to his name. He is being tipped to be the future star of the country.
