Wasim Akram had been one of the most fierce left-arm seamers in world cricket. He used to generate prodigious movements off the wickets and subsequently bamboozle the best in the business. The Pakistan prodigy plied his trade in Tests and One Day Internationals and has tasted equal success in all the formats. Meanwhile, he was no mug with the bat as he racked up handy runs lower down the order.
Over the years the bowling all-rounder garnered a substantial fan-following which doesn’t spring a surprise by any stretch of the imagination. Most recently, the former cricketer decided to give his fans plenty to cheer and gave them a delightful news. As per reports in geo.tv, Akram is set to make a comeback on the cricketing field next month.
He is set to return to the game at the Multan Cricket Stadium where he will play an exhibition game at the launch event of his team Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super league (PSL) on February 4, 2018.
