The outbreak of Coronavirus has resulted in the world coming to a standstill with the governments imposing lockdowns in their respective countries. Due to the increasing fury of the virus, India PM Narendra Modi also announced a 21-day lockdown and post that, many eminent personalities including cricketers were spotted interacting with fans on social media. While many cricketers chose to work out during the lockdown, many cricketers also decided to do a Question and Answer session with their fans on Twitter.
Many cricketers including Shreyas Iyer and Mitchell McClenaghan hosted a Q&A session on their Twitter account and it was none other than Wasim Jaffer who joined the list amid the quarantine situation. The former India player answered a plethora of questions and also gave a hilarious response when a fan asked him to choose between Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. Jaffer also opined on Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma when fans asked him to say some words about these Indian stalwarts.
When a fan asked Jaffer about the best cricketing brain which he has come across, the former India player chose the name of Rohit Sharma. “Who do you think has the best cricketing brain of the current players of all team?” asked a fan to which Jaffer responded with the name of the current India opener.

Rohit Sharma has led Mumbai Indians to the title on four occasions
There is no doubt over Rohit Sharma’s captaincy skills along with his batting as the right-hander has steered Mumbai Indians to four IPL trophies. Moreover, his batting record also speaks for himself as Rohit Sharma has etched his name into the record books on several occasions since making his India debut.
In a career spanning over 224 ODIs, the explosive batsman has amassed 9115 runs at an impressive average of 49.27. He also has 29 tons and 43 half-centuries under his belt. In the concluding year, Rohit made his presence felt with the red ball too after smashing consecutive tons in two innings in his Test debut as an opener.
Rohit has exhibited in T20Is too as he has gathered 2773 runs in the shorter format with an average of 32.62 including four tons and 21 half-centuries. The 32-year-old was set to steer Mumbai Indians from the front in the much-awaited IPL 2020.
However, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, IPL 2020 has landed into hot waters and the feasibility of the tournament looks bleak. However, reports also suggest that the much-anticipated league will be hosted in July-September before the initiation of T20 World Cup 2020. Rohit is expected to play a crucial role in India’s expedition in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
