Watch: A bizarre incident as a cat runs on the ground during Pakistan v England 2nd ODI: During the ongoing series between England and Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates, there was a bizarre incident that occurred during the Pakistan v England 2nd ODI. A cat ran through the ground and passed the boundary line and almost collided with the fielder while he was running towards the ball at the ropes.
England scored a total of 283 runs on the board while batting first, courtesy of a brilliant century by Alex Hales. In reply, the Pakistan innings crumbled initially. Wickets kept falling at regular intervals. And just when things started to worsen for Pakistan, this incident happened.
After this cat ran around the boundary there was another incident during the same match involving the same animal. A black cat was seen on the ground and some people immediately noticed and correlated it with the fall of Pakistan wickets. Several questions arose regarding the security measures at the stadium in Abu Dhabi. It was really an unexpected incident that took place and the player on the outfield might well have been injured as he had to pull himself instantaneously to avoid running into the cat.
Meanwhile, Pakistan was struggling throughout their innings and they were bundled for a total of 188 runs. Chris Woakes bagged 4 wickets for England while David Willey got 3. England won the match by a significant margin of 95 runs and thus leveled the 4-match series 1-1.
