He is a widely respected persona and is loved for his calm demeanour. Dravid is the perfect idol for many, not only for cricketers but also for the common people and one among those is Indian middle order batsman Ajinkya Rahane.

Ajinkya Rahane, who is seen as the new Mr. Dependable, sent a lovely video message to Dravid on occasion of the special day.

Learnt a lot of many things, about batting and in general about life. Thank you so much. Whatever input you gave me. It is really helping me and am sure it will help me in the future as well. Ajinkya Rahane, whose playing style and personal nature resemble the great a lot, is currently in Australia preparing for the limited overs series and is set to play in the first ODI against the hosts tomorrow at Perth.
