Watch: Harbhajan Singh takes on a pro wrestler

What do you think Harbhajan Singh is capable of in sports? Bowling off-spinners? Batting down the order? Bhajji is capable of a lot more than that as he had displayed his hidden set of skills as a wrestler. Yes, you read it right, apart from being India’s third leading wicket-taker in Test cricket, the Indian spinner displayed that he can play a hand in the wrestling ring as well.

Harbhajan went to see a match in CWI academy (The Great Khali’s wrestling academy) in Jalandhar’s Kangniwal village and during his visit, a student challenged him to wrestle!

So what do you expect Bhajji to do, after being challenged? Yes, of course, he accepted the challenge and got into the ring. You wouldn’t believe if I tell you that he stunned Khali’s student, but you have to as we have a video of the fight for you.

And to add to that, Khali himself was present there. As soon as the match was over, Khali took Bhajji near the ring. After seeing Bhajji’s wrestling skills, he was so impressed with him that he honored the cricketer with a ‘Gadaa’. Harbhajan also stated that he doesn’t need to worry about anything since Khali is with him.

Moreover, he even appreciated the way the academy is functioning along with the training that was given to young wrestlers. This friendly match was definitely a treat to the audience present around the arena.
