Whether on-field or off-field, Dwayne Bravo is a lively character. After playfully messing with MS Dhoni a few days back, Bravo bumped into an opposition player yet again during the match. This time, it was his own mate from Trinidad, Kieron Pollard.
On-field clashes occur pretty often but the kind of face-off which these two West Indians had was little confusing. One of the confused persons was Australian Shane Watson who tweeted about the incident, asking whether both were friends or otherwise.
Are Bravo and Pollard mates or not???? It looked very real!!! #DoOrDieGame#vivoipl

During the highly crucial Mumbai Indians versus Gujarat Lions game Dwayne Bravo kept the intensity high with his antics. In the 14th over of the MI innings on Saturday, Pollard came out to bat, to face the last ball of Dwayne Bravo’s over. Bravo had just dismissed Jos Buttler to break the 75 runs 4th wicket stand. But, just as the medium pacer was approaching to bowl, the batsman put his hand up to ask him to wait. Bravo did not appear irked and went back with a smile on his face.
He ran in again and bowled a bumper at him which rose steeply, making Pollard defend it cautiously. What followed next was little dramatic and left people amused. Bravo picked up the ball and went straight to Pollard, looking him in the face. Pollard also was standing there unshaken and held his bat above his head as if he will smash Bravo’s head. The Caribbean rivalry was on full display. Rivalry though can be assumed as a friendly one.
