It’s no secret that India’s limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni loves bowling. He has, on many occasions dropped his keeping gloves, to bowl at the opposition during international matches. In fact, Mahi has an ODI wicket to his name. Also during the practice sessions, he has been a regular bowler in the nets. It is fun to see him bowling.
In a video shared by BCCI’s official Twitter handle on Friday, on the eve of India’s first game with Zimbabwe, where the team is on a limited-overs tour, Dhoni once again took the ball in his hand and rolled his arm over.

Dhoni can be seen taking hurried paces towards the bowling mark and bowl with a perfect follow-through. The current Indian team almost comprises of new faces who have very little or no international experience. And also, given the presence of KL Rahul and Kedar Jadhav in the squad, who can keep the wickets, MS Dhoni might not hesitate to drop the keeping gloves and bowl a couple of overs.
The first ODI between hosts Zimbabwe and India will kickstart today at the Harare Sports Club. This tour can possibly be proving ground for many of the young Indians in the side. The Indian squad has a fresh look to it while the Zimbabweans has opted for a full-strength side with hopes of bringing some turnaround and creating some unexpected upset.
