Indian limited overs skipper MS Dhoni was going to feature in a domestic match for the first time in 8 years and the match at the Alur ground in Bangalore was already making news. A small ground with little facilities or security cover gave fans an opportunity to watch the Indian skipper play right in front of their eyes. But those of whom had come to watch a big knock from Dhoni had to walk back disappointed as he was dismissed cheaply by Jammu & Kashmir spinner Waseem Raza.

The Jharkhand team was in trouble reeling somewhere under 100 and had already lost 4 batsmen and that is when the star attraction of the match Dhoni walked in to bat at number 5.

There was a lot of excitement among those following the scorecard of the match as well since there is no live telecast of the tournament. He was slow to start in his innings and was batting with a strike rate even under 50, which is indigestible considering his standards.

While batting on 9 from 24 balls he was facing J&K left-arm spinner, Raza who was bowling the 28th over of the Jharkhand innings, on the 4th ball the 22-year old produced the magic delivery that got him the prized wicket of MS Dhoni.

Raza pitched it outside the off-stump trying to take the ball away from the man with an angle, and MSD aiming to cut it towards third man edged the ball and J&K all-rounder Parvez Rasool standing, at first slip pouched a beautiful catch to send Dhoni back to the pavilion.
