Former Indian captain MS Dhoni may not be in the best phase of his career struggling to score big in the IPL. Earlier this year he also stepped down as the captain of Indian national team. The 2-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winning captain was sacked from the captaincy and Steve Smith was declared as the new captain of Rising Pune Supergiant, as the RPS officials cited need of a young captain as the reason for this.

But as long as the fans are by his side Dhoni does not need to worry much. A lot of his fans fantasise him as if he is a superhero. One fan decided to pay an homage to his idol and offered him the role played by actor Prabhas (Amarendra Baahubali/Mahendra Baahubali) in the record-breaking film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has broken many records throughout his cricketing career. So has the second instalment of the super hit movie Baahubali. The record-breaker in terms of Box Office collections had actor Prabhas in the leading role. But recently, a fan of the former Indian skipper uploaded a new trailer of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion on YouTube.

In the trailer, the footage is of MS Dhoni while Baahubali’s dialogues are played in the background. It will be a goosebump moment for Dhoni loyalists when they will see their favourite player with the bat in hand on their screen, and hear him say “Main, Amarendra Baahubali…(I, Amarendra Baahubali…).

In the video, MS Dhoni is starring in the role of Baahubali. Various parts from his biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ have been used in the trailer.

Some real-life cricket clips and ad-clips that feature Dhoni are also used. His ardent fans took to the Twitter to upload various memes comparing their real-life hero with reel-life hero Amarendra Baahubali. It was a tough call before RPS-KXIP game for someone who is a Dhoni fan but supported Kings XI as well. Someone felt MS Dhoni to India is same what Amarendra Baahubali is to Mahishmati.
