Nepal skipper Paras Khadka has been in the news since 2004. As someone who has been groomed for leadership roles, the 29-year old has been a mainstay as far as Nepalese cricketing news is concerned. Having made his claim to fame all those years ago in 2004, Khadka played three U19 World Cups for Nepal and was groomed for the leadership roles along the way, something that he also took over in 2009.

However, in the context of today’s day and age, Khadka is now 29 years of age and is the undisputed captain of the Nepal national cricket team. Also, this adds to what he achieved for the Warriors against the Rhinos on the day where he was in his best possible batting space. This also came in the iconic Kirtipur Ground where the Warriors play their domestic cricket.

Facing Saeed Ajmal in the final few stages of the innings, Paras Khadka launched an all-out assault on the Pakistan off-spinner as he smashed the ball to different parts of the ground. In just the one over, the Nepal skipper smashed four sixes against Saeed Ajmal, something that most international bowlers have simply not managed to do in recent times.

Saeed Ajmal was the world number one bowler in limited overs cricket wherein he managed to bamboozle a plethora of batsmen with some terrific bowling. However, it all went south soon after as he was reported for a suspect action and eventually banned by the ICC. In spite of tweaking his action a bit, the Pakistan Cricket Board has opted to leave him out of the grand scheme of things with incumbent coach Mickey Arthur keeping one eye on the future.
