Team India is all set for their title defence in the ICC Champions Trophy. They have started off with their preparations on a high. They have managed to win both their warm-up games in the lead-up to the tournament proper. Both wins have come in an emphatic fashion. India beat New Zealand by 45 runs in a rain-curtailed game in their first warm-up.
In the next fixture, they thoroughly outplayed Bangladesh. After having posted a mammoth 324 runs on the board sans the services of MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Yuvraj Singh in the match, the Indian bowlers wreaked havoc to bundle out the opposition for a paltry 84. Needless to say, they have made a strong statement going into the tournament with those two big wins.
The Indian outfit looks very strong on paper and on the field. Now, the new look Indian side has got a new outfit – well, quite literally! The new official sponsors of the Indian cricket team, OPPO, recently handed over the new team jerseys to the players of the Indian team. The officials from the mobile manufacturing company handed the jerseys to Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane, and Shikhar Dhawan.
The official social media account of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video of the same on Twitter. They added a caption too, which read, “Check out #TeamIndia’s new ODI Jersey. It was handed over to the members of the team by OPPO yesterday in the team hotel.”

Team India is set to start their title defence against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 4 at Birmingham, Edgbaston. While the build-up to the game has been huge, there are chances of an unlikely spoilsport coming to the frame. There is serious rain threat over the match with the weather forecasts not being very ideal for the entire day.
