Watch: Top 6 fielding moments in World Cup history
5. Ajay Jadeja’s great catch to dismiss Allan Border
India met Australia at Brisbane for their 1992 World Cup encounter in a bid to salvage some pride in an otherwise dismal campaign. Australia batted first and went on to score 237 for 9 wickets with Dean Jones’ brilliant 90 runs.
The one good moment for Indian in this match was a great catch taken by Ajay Jadeja off the bowling of Kapil Dev. Allan Border hit a half volley in air towards long off and Jadeja ran in and dived in to take a brilliant catch. But India went on to lose the match by just 1 run.
