Watch: 'Universe Boss' Chris Gayle promises thorough entertainment

Universe Boss Chris Gayle today delivered a special message for cricket fans ahead of the start of the much-awaited T20 series which will be played in Florida, USA. Gayle, who returns to the team after missing the Tests, looked in his usual jovial mood and greeted his fans.

The T20 series is one leg of India’s tour of West Indies. However, with both the team’s playing on foreign shores, none of them can call it as their home game. There is no host team and no visiting team. But, Gayle thinks differently and terms Lauderhill (the venue for tonight’s game) as the home venue for both the teams. He also guaranteed complete entertainment over the course of the next two days.

“Hi, everyone! Chris Gayle here… Guess what? This is both teams playing two home games. It’s our own game and it’s India’s home game as well. It is going to be a cracker. Lot’s of entertainment from both sides. So, come out and watch it. You will have fun.”

Going into the T20 series, West Indies will look to settle scores in the format tailor-made for their style of play. The current T20 world champions in this format have a full-strength side and have a very healthy chance of beating India in the bilateral series. India, on the other hand, will be seeking to complete their tour on a high by adding the T20 honors to their name after winning the Test series without much fuss.
