Watch: When Michael Clarke fumbled success with sex
Watch: When Michael Clarke fumbled success with sex: The Australian team is soaring high after inflicting a huge defeat of 405 runs on the face of England at Lord’s. The Australians seem to be doing the right things at the moment. But, sometimes there are certain words which get fluffed up in the mouth either due to their complexities or due to too much of similarities.
Who knows this better than the Australian Test skipper Michael Clarke. At the press conference in Edgbaston prior to the 3rd Investec Ashes Test, on Tuesday, Clarke became the butt of trolls and jokes after he erred the word ‘success’ with ‘sex’ much to the amusement of the press reporters present there, who can’t help laughing.
The 34-year old was speaking about Australia’s comeback win in the second test match at Lord’s, had asserted that it’s all about executing the skills to have “sex” instead of saying success but cheeky Clarke was quick to retrospect his words as he rectified the error with the correct word “success”. Michael Clarke also had giggle about it as it was second time when such thing happened with the right-hander.

Earlier this year during the World Cup 2015, similar incident had taken place. But, at that time it wasn’t an error from his side. A journalist had asked that, “Michael you have got tremendous sex…… success as Australia captain..” and even before the journalist could utter a word the whole room busted in loud laughter. Even the Australian premiere Batsman Steve Smith couldn’t control his overriding emotions as he was the man with the loudest laughter there. Smith had enjoyed that awkward moment the most. Clarke turned red-faced and he also had a good laugh about it.
