Watch: Yuvraj Singh talks about marriage, cricket and more on the Kapil Sharma show

Everyone looking out for a platform to promote their movie, show or even product on TV in India have one destination today and that is the Kapil Sharma show. Comedian Kapil Sharma is one of the most popular names in India at the moment and his show being for the family audience reaches out to the masses across the country. Along with the comedy gigs, they have a segment where celebrities come in to share their experiences about the recent movie they did or the product they are introducing. So when Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh launched his fashion line YouWeCan Fashion he also went to the show.

Talking about the initiative he is trying to work on with his foundation Yuvi said, “The common people these days don’t have health insurance and I think the kids who are diagnosed with cancer, their parents spend a lot of money in the treatment and when the kids recover their parents don’t really have money to educate them so we help 25 kids and hope we can increase that number to 150 and as many as we can, depending on the funds we get. With YouWeCan I want people to understand whenever they buy any clothing they are helping us save someone’s life. This was the motive of YouWeCan.”

Since it’s a comedy show the host Kapil asked him to share a funny episode his friends Ashish Nehra, Harbhajan Singh who are married told him about the post-marriage life. Yuvi said when they are upset they tell me don’t get married or you will end up becoming a dog.

He (Yuvraj) also said that he had to pursue Harbhajan to get married, who was reluctant since he wanted to focus on his cricket. He took a humorous dig at it adding that not only are you getting old but as you wear the turban no one actually knows how much hair is left on your head, so it’s the right time for you to tie the knot.

Yuvraj also briefly talked about his altercation with English all-rounder Andrew Flintoff and how he provoked him which led to one of the most famous moments in Indian cricket where Yuvi hit Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over in the World T20 in 2007.
