Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on Sunday and he was found hanging at his Bandra residence, according to reports. His demise left everyone stunned and Twitter was filled with condolences in no time.
Sushant had a special connect with cricket after successfully portraying MS Dhoni in his biopic. He had gained many accolades for his performance in the blockbuster movie which was released in September 2016.
Many cricketers, who were left in shock after learning about the death of Sushant, paid condolences to the Bollywood actor. From former cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag to current players like Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan– a plethora of cricketers mourned the loss of Sushant on Twitter. Raina, while paying tribute to Sushant, even revealed that he had met the actor several times while he was shooting for Dhoni’s biopic.
Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also expressed grief over Sushant’s death. He took it to Twitter and said that he was shocked after hearing this news. Yuvraj also addressed the issue of ‘mental health’ and said that people actually don’t know what’s going inside one’s mind.
‘I really can’t believe this! Someone so young and successful?? We actually don’t know what goes on the inside, while it looks completely different from the outside! #RIPSushantSinghRajput,” tweeted Yuvraj.

Sushant Singh Rajput had started his acting career with TV shows
The news of Sushant’s death came after his former manager Disha Salian committed suicide last Monday by jumping off the 14th floor from her apartment in Mumbai. According to reports, Sushant was also battling with depression and was undergoing its treatment.
Sushant’s recent Bollywood venture was Chhichhore which had gained many accolades upon its release. Along with Chhichhore, he was also famous for delivering impressive performances in films like Kai Po Che, PK and Kedarnath. Sushant had also garnered critical acclaim for his role in Dibakar Banerjee’s 2015 movie, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.
After flagging off his acting career through TV shows, Sushant eventually paved his way into Bollywood by Kai Po Che. The film was a critically-acclaimed one for which Sushant even received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
