'We are all very proud of you' - AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis share special message ahead of Virat Kohli's 100th T20I

Virat Kohli will be back in action as arch-rivals India and Pakistan lock horns in Asia Cup 2022 at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, August 28. Kohli is returning after a long break of over a month and he would be hoping to rediscover his rhythm on the 22 yards. Meanwhile, the batting megastar will be making his 100th T20I appearance when India take on Pakistan. Ahead of the special occasion, two of his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates and good friends from South Africa have come forward to wish him. AB de Villiers and Faf du Plessis have a special message for Virat Kohli “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate my very good friend Virat Kohli on becoming the first Indian cricket player to play 100 matches across all three formats. What an amazing achievement Virat! We are all very proud of you and all the very best in your 100th T20 International game. The batting icon has scored two consecutive half-centuries against the Men in Green in the 2016 and 2021 editions of the T20 World Cup and would now be eyeing a third straight 50 against them in the shortest format.
