We are clicking as a unit and that's what matters: Siddharth Kaul
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals coach Amol Muzumdar felt that his team did a significant job of taking things till the last over.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad have been the team to look out for this season. They may be missing David Warner’s services this year but things are well under control. While there may be some problems in the batting order, the bowling order has defended smaller targets with much brutality to the opposition.
Amongst the current lot, Siddharth Kaul has displayed some sensational form in the season. The 27-year-old has been so stupendous that Sunrisers Hyderabad doesn’t seem to be missing the presence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. With 11 wickets this season, he’s already the purple cap holder.
It’s not an individual effort, everyone has been performing their job as a team
The right arm medium pacer has asserted the importance of the team clicking together which has led to results. Hailing from Punjab, Kaul remarked how each one had been assigned a role to perform and it was not an individual effort for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
“We are clicking as a unit, that is what matters. Sometimes the batting does well, sometimes the bowling unit performs well. In the end, it is the team that wins or loses. As a bowling unit, we all know our roles and everyone has been given a job to do, so it is not just an individual effort,” He was quoted as saying by Sportstar.
We are improving and hopeful of creating a turnaround
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals who faced another defeat are now at the fifth spot at the points table. Their coach Amol Muzumdar felt that his team did a significant job of taking things till the last over. He focused on the positives and also remarked that they weren’t keen on making any changes.
“Things happen and we did give it our best, however things change very quickly in T20s. Our batting line-up is good and we have improved on our fielding as well. We are quite hopeful of a turnaround and we will go with whatever the current opening order is. No changes for now,” he told.
