'Weight looks a little easy' - David Warner pulls Virat Kohli's leg in his latest workout video
The run-machine of India had also shared a clip on Thursday while doing fly push-ups with ease.
Virat Kohli, over the years, has carved himself as one of the fittest cricketers of the sport. Be it agile fielding, quick running between the wickets or robust batting prowess– Kohli has been the flagbearer of athleticism in recent times.
It was Kohli who had encouraged the idea of making fitness the top-most priority in Indian cricket. The 31-year-old has never looked back since making his international debut. His batting, captaincy and fitness have only got better with time.
Kohli-led Team India has also emerged as the fittest and best fielding side in the past couple of years. At the 2019 World Cup, India had the lowest drop percentage of 6.25 as the Men in Blue only dropped one catch in the first 30 matches of the showpiece event.
Meanwhile, the Indian skipper is making no compromises over his physique even at a time when international cricket is at a halt. Kohli has been sweating it out while being at home during the pandemic. Moreover, he has also shared glimpses of his workouts with his fans across social media.
Had the IPL 2020 commenced as per schedule, Kohli would’ve braced the field while leading Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). However, due to postponement of the tournament, Kohli’s prime focus will be to be in shape whenever the cricketing action resumes.
Virat Kohli shared a clip of power snatch
The run-machine of India had also shared a clip on Thursday while doing fly push-ups with ease. He even added a ‘clap’ twist to it and the video started doing rounds in no time.
Continuing the trend, Virat Kohli again shared a glimpse of his gym sessions and uploaded a clip where he was seen performing power snatch. As expected, ardent followers of the Indian skipper stormed into the comments section to heap praise on Kohli’s fitness levels.
“If I had to make a choice of one exercise to do everyday, this would be it. Love the power snatch,” wrote Kohli while sharing the video.
However, it was David Warner who stole the limelight with his hilarious dig at Kohli. The Australian southpaw doubted if the weights that Kohli was lifting were lighter.
Recently, Warner had even asked Kohli to record a duet with him on TikTok. Amid the pandemic, Warner has been one of the busiest cricketers on the application. He has been on a video-sharing spree in the absence of international cricket.
