After a forgettable 2019, Hardik Pandya starts 2020 with a bang
Earlier, Indian captain Virat Kohli led the baton as far as congratulating the couple is concerned. Commenting on Pandya’s engagement video, Virat wrote, “Congratulations H. What a pleasant surprise. Wish you guys great times ahead. God bless.”
The year 2020 has started on a good note for the Indian all-rounder after a rather forgettable 2019. From getting suspended from the Indian set-up thanks to his obnoxious comments in a famous talk show to getting sidelined due to his lower-back injury, the past 12 months were indeed something the all-rounder would like to forget.
Pandya, who played his last International fixture against South Africa back in October, has been out of active cricket for a good 2-3 months now after he successfully underwent surgery. Since then, the all-rounder has been rehabilitating and is eyeing a comeback in the New Zealand series.
The Mumbai Indians all-rounder will miss India’s home T20I series against Sri Lanka and the subsequent ODI series against the Australians but has been named in India A tour of New Zealand.
