West Indies and Pakistan set to play pink-ball Test
As the urge for pink ball Test matches is increasing day-by-day in the cricketing world, West Indies have agreed to play pink-ball Test against Pakistan in UAE in September ESPNcricinfo reported.
The WICB initially hesitated for the day-night Test, but they agreed once Pakistan offered a practice match and training sessions under lights.
PCB had also proposed to change the composure of the series from two Tests, five ODIs, and two T20Is, to three Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is, according to FTP. They also have plans of Sri Lanka as the alternative venue to host the series against West Indies, with the high expenses in UAE.
The Pakistan board seems to be very much interested in hosting the pink ball Test matches as they had earlier offered to play against Sri Lanka in 2013 in UAE and the proposal was declined with the reason being the lack of practice with the pink ball. Earlier this year, Pakistan had agreed to play day-night Test against Australia in Brisbane this December.

They are also set to play 10 day-night games in the first-class matches which start from September. The plan will be implemented in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, including the semi-final and final to make sure that every top level team in the tournament can experience the demands of the modern day cricket.
After the attack on the Sri Lankan cricketers in Pakistan in 2009, none of the top cricket teams have toured Pakistan and since then most of their home series are played in the UAE.
