West Indies vs India 2023

Following the loss endured in the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 final, team India will turn its attention towards a multi-format series against the West Indies, scheduled to begin on July 12. The Men in Blue will play two Test matches, three ODIs, and five T20Is in the Caribbean and the United States.

The tour will begin with the two Tests which will be the first assignments of both teams in the 2023-25 cycle of the WTC, followed by the three ODI matches. For the unversed, the second red-ball clash of the series will mark the historic 100th Test between the two nations.

After the Tests, team India will look to make the most from the 50-over matches, considering that the 2023 ODI World Cup is on the horizon, slated to be played in October-November.  On the other hand, the Windies are yet to cement their place in the marquee ODI event and will hope to confirm their ticket by making it to the finals of the ODI World Cup Qualifiers.

The first ODI between the two nations will be played at Kensington Oval in Barbados and the ODI series will conclude on August 1. Following the conclusion of the ODI series, the two teams will play five T20Is, starting August 3 with the final game to be played on August 13.
