The five-match T20I series between West Indies and South Africa has been an exciting one thus far. After the hosts thumped the visitors by eight wickets in the opener, Temba Bavuma and Co made a comeback in the second game, winning by 16 runs at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada.
After being put in to bat first, the Proteas churned out a competitive score of 166 in 20 overs. In their run-chase, Evin Lewis and Andre Fletcher took the home team off to a flying start with a 31-run stand for the opening wicket.
However, the Proteas showed resilience by getting a flurry of wickets. The third game of the series is set to be played on Tuesday, June 29 at the same venue.
The losing team will find itself in a must-win scenario for the last two matches. The Caribbean team has lost three out of four T20Is against South Africa at home and would be looking to turn their fortunes around.
