'When she tells you go and lock the door' - Jofra Archer's hilarious take on Virat Kohli's dance moves
If Virat Kohli's dance moves were hilarious, Archer's tweet has taken it to another level.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost to Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Thursday by eight wickets in Sharjah. It was the third loss for the team and RCB still sit pretty at the third position in the points table with five wins from eight games. However, more than the loss, their skipper Virat Kohli’s dance moves ahead of the match was the talking point.
Kohli is known to stay relax and calm ahead of crucial matches and it has been no different in this IPL season as well. If anything, he is enjoying playing cricket more having missed it during the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic. The video of his dance moves went viral as well on social media and Rajasthan Royals (RR) pacer Jofra Archer also ending up tweeting on it.
Archer is known for his out of the box hilarious tweets and is a lot active on social media. His old tweets resembling the current happenings have been going viral forever now and recently, the cricketer had tweets about power cut in Mumbai as well. Coming back to his tweet over Virat Kohli’s dance moves has literally left the fans and followers in splits.
“When she tells you go and lock the door,” Jofra Archer tweeted quoting the video in which the RCB captain is in cheerful mood and dancing like anything.
Here’s the tweet:
RCB couldn’t play their best cricket on the day
While Virat Kohli’s cheerful mood was visible ahead of the match, RCB couldn’t perform well in the game against KXIP. After opting to bat first, the batting line-up failed to capitalise on a good start in the middle-overs. Virat Kohli, in his 200th game for RCB, scored 48 runs off 39 balls but couldn’t up the ante when the team needed. They demoted AB de Villiers, strangely, to number six which left many baffled.
Even with the ball, apart from Chris Morris, none other bowler looked effective. The match did go to the last over but RCB were always behind the game throughout and the fact they could pick only two wickets tells the whole story.
