The Indian film industry has been a witness to some of the fierce competitions over the years. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are two of the most renowned actors in the country and the box office gets flooded when the movies of these two actors hit the silver screens. Their movies become blockbusters to such an extent that they mostly feature amongst the highest grosser in a year.
While the duo shares a great camaraderie, they have also made news for the wrong reasons over the years. Back at Katrina Kaif’s birthday in 2008, the duo engaged in an ugly altercation, which sparked speculations surrounding their souring relationship. However, the matter was resolved at Baba Siddiqui’s Iftaar Party in 2015 where both the acting stalwarts shared a hug.
Yuvraj and Shah Rukh’s hilarious convo
Back in 2010, Shah Rukh hosted the Indian Premier League awards and he had the chance of having the charismatic Yuvraj Singh on the stage. Both of them had a funny chat about Salman as well. During the show, he asked the Indian all-rounder that whom among Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, he would like to date.
Yuvraj was clear-cut about Lara and Priyanka. But about Katrina, she started singing a popular song from the movie ‘De Dana Dan’. “I’d say Main baarish kardu paise ki, Sorry main aage nahi bol sakta, bhai aa gaya to bahot maarega (I can’t complete the song becase if Bhai (Salman Khan) comes, he will be b*at me”),” Yuvraj was quoted as saying.
The veteran actor had a hilarious reply in store. “Bhai agar yaha aaya to tujhe maarne se pehle mujhe bahot maarega (If Bhai comes here, before be*ting you, he will be*t me)”, he replied.
As far as their career is concerned, while Shah Rukh’s upcoming movie ‘Zero’, also featuring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, is set to release on December 21, Yuvraj is set to take part in next year’s IPL auction as he has been released by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) for whom he played last year.
