'Who is he', asks Raai Laxmi when questioned about MS Dhoni

Indian actress Raai Laxmi has been in the news in the recent times for various reasons. Her debut Bollywood movie, Julie 2, is all set to roll out at the theaters on October 6 this year. While she is busy with the promotions for her upcoming flick, the diva seems to have gotten no respite from her past. The successful South Indian actress, who has acted in hit movies like Dhaam Dhoom, Rock n Roll, and Mankatha, was reportedly in a relationship with MS Dhoni almost a decade ago.

Raai Laxmi was rumored to have dated the former Indian captain during the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League. Laxmi was the brand ambassador of the Chennai Super Kings franchise in the season. MS Dhoni, as all cricket fans know, was the captain of the team. The two never opened up about their relationship but the grapevine continued to spread in the media.

Now, as per the quotes in inuth.com, Raai Laxmi was asked about MS Dhoni yet again during a media interaction. Unimpressed with the question, the actress exclaimed who MS Dhoni is. She further added that such link ups must stop now since Dhoni is a happily married man. She also mentioned that she does not wish to speak much about Dhoni since she respects him a lot.

“Who’s he? This needs to have a full stop. It was a long time ago, he is happily married now, he has kids… Certain things don’t work out, and then you have to move on,” quoted Raai Laxmi.

Don’t want to speak about him

“People had quickly taken it to a level that I was going to get married to him, and that was simply not true. The hype got us into an awkward space and that is why I do not talk to the media much about this, but I am talking a bit now. I do not want to speak about him in detail because I respect him a lot,” she added.
