Sanjana Ganesan has become the talk of the town ever since media reports suggested that India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is all set to tie the knots with her. The rumours started doing the rounds ever since Bumrah was released by Team India before the fourth Test against England. Soon after he left the team’s bio-bubble, reports suggested that the pacer has taken a break from the game for his wedding.

At first, the rumours linked Bumrah with the South Indian actress Anupama Parameswaran. However, those reports were quickly quashed by the actor’s mother. And the latest reports have suggested that Bumrah will likely to be getting married to the Star Sports presenter Ganesan. Sanjana Ganesan is a sports presenter and TV host. Having worked with Star Sports for the Indian Premier League (IPL), she is a common face for cricket fans. In addition to hosting cricket, she has hosted and presented shows of other sports too like badminton.

2. TV debut with MTV Splitsvilla 7:

Her journey in the world of entertainment started with the popular reality show MTV Splitsvilla 7 which took place in 2014. Unfortunately, she suffered an injury midway through that season and could not complete the show.

3. Modelling career:

Before becoming a TV anchor, Ganesan had tried her hands at modelling too albeit for a very short period of time. She had participated in the ‘2012 Femina Style Diva’ fashion show. In the following year, she had participated in the Femina Miss India Pune’ competition and was one of the finalists. In the same year, she also participated in the ‘Femina Officially Gorgeous’ competition and won it.

5. Co-host of Match Point:

Ganesan’s journey as a sports presenter began in 2016 when she joined Star Sports. Later, she became the co-host of the channel’s popular post-match show Match Point and Cheeky Singles. She also covered the 2019 World Cup from the UK.
