WI vs ENG: Crowd restrictions to be lifted for three-match Test series

The England cricket team will take on the West Indies in a three-match Test series that is scheduled to commence on 8th March 2022. And, ahead of the series, the crowd restrictions in the West Indies have been lifted.
The 1st and 3rd Test matches will take place in Antigua and Grenada respectively, and both these venues will see a hundred percent capacity. The recently concluded T20I series between West Indies and England took place with the stadiums having a 50% capacity.
And, these restrictions will not be in place when England takes on the West Indies in the whites next month. Also, there is set to be a lot of anticipation for this series between the two sides as well in the Caribbean.
West Indies beat England in a closely fought T20I series
The recently concluded T20I series between the West Indies and England was a closely fought one, with both sides fighting tooth and nail. And in the end, it was the ‘Men in Maroon’ who had the last laugh, winning the series 3-2.
The first 4 T20Is saw both England and the West Indies winning 2 matches apiece, and Jason Holder’s special performance in the final rubber helped the West Indies beat England by 17 runs.
Holder scalped a stunning 4 wickets in 4 balls in the final over and became the first West Indian male cricketer to do so. And in the process, he helped the West Indies seal the series. Holder scalped a five-wicket haul in the match and won the Player of the Match as well as the Player of the Series award.
The West Indies will next take on the Indian cricket team in a limited-overs series that will comprise of 3 ODIs and 3 T20I matches. And, this series will commence on 6th February 2022. While all the ODI matches will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, all the T20I games will take place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
