WI vs PAK: West Indies cricketers hilariously enact DRS while playing indoor cricket as rain delays start on Day 2

One of the most frustrating things as a cricket fan can be waiting for the rain in some other part of the world to stop, just so that you can watch your favorite stars go back on the field. But if you think from the shoes of the cricketers, it can be more frustrating than the fans. A team’s rhythm can be spoiled because of a rain break. 

In these moments, it is really important that the morale of the team stays high. In the ongoing Test match between West Indies and Pakistan, a similar situation arrived on the second day morning in the second Test at the Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. As the players were getting ready to go back on the field rain played spoilsport as no play was possible till lunch. 

The mood in the West Indies camp was quite good though. In a video shared by the Windies Cricket official Twitter page, the West Indian players were seen playing some indoor cricket with a bit of twist inside the dressing room to pass time. In the video, Jomel Warrican was seen batting against Chemar Holder. 

The Windies players enact the DRS ball tracking

As the video moves forward, Shamarh Brooks who is standing as the on-field umpire gives it out. Warrican then decides to take the DRS. Once he calls the DRS, the players are seen enacting the replays with ball tracking as Jason Holder, who acts as the third umpire, decides that the batsman should be given out.

Before the rain delay on day two, 74 overs were bowled on day one. Pakistan had an early collapse and was reduced to 2 for 3. However, fifties from Babar Azam and Fawad Alam helped them get back into the game. Babar was dismissed for 75 while Alam walked off the field due to an injury when he was batting on 76. Pakistan ended the day on 212 for 4.
