Will wedding with Anushka change Virat Kohli's aggressive attitude? Rohit Sharma has his say

Indian cricket team’s batting machine Virat Kohli has had a sensational calendar year both on the field and personally. He recently got hitched to famous Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma on December 11 in a close affair with a destination based wedding in Italy. The Indian captain is known for his intensity and aggressive attitude while taking the field consistently in any type of match and nobody can give him a better competition in this inspiring character. India’s limited overs specialist opening batsman Rohit Sharma also revealed that it is difficult to say whether the Indian captain will switch on from his destructive intensity now being a married gentleman.

The newlyweds recently hosted a glamorous and pleasant wedding reception in Mumbai and Delhi. Indian team opener Rohit Sharma along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh attended the gathering in Mumbai on December 26 to join the couple on their life’s most memorable and auspicious day. Sharma led the Indian side to a series victory against the visiting Sri Lanka team in the limited overs format in the absence of the regular skipper Kohli.

I can’t say anything right now

Sharma stated that it is not the right time to tell that if Virat will have a modified and a more matured mindset after marriage. He also mentioned the fact that things tend to be pretty much different when an individual gets married. Rohit said that the clear picture about the possible shift in the Indian captain’s mindset will probably be revealed in South Africa. Virat will be leading his boys in his biggest testing assignment which will be the overseas series against South Africa starting next year.

“Marriage changes you completely. It is very difficult to say… I don’t know much, probably only in South Africa I can say. (laughs)… it depends individually,” said Sharma as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Rohit wished his captain for all the happiness and a great married life ahead and also said that this is the most wonderful feeling ever to be a witness in one’s life.  He believes that everyone does not become a changed personality after getting engaged.

“I guess so, I don’t know what it is going to be like for him, but I wish them good luck ahead because it is the most wonderful thing that can happen to an individual. I just wish them all the happiness ahead,” added the Indian opener when asked about the change in Kohli’s aggression on the field after marriage.
